JFC concept and philosophy

1. This make-up range has been designed by image consultants specifically for image consultants.

2. The colours are based on the concepts of Cool vs. Warm (hallelujah).

3. Product colours will not change with the latest fashions; the supply of colours will be consistent.

• What I was most concerned about with any new range is how often they will be changing the eyeshadows, lipsticks, etc.  The reason I've stayed with Moritz is that the colours hardly ever change so we know exactly what we are recommending to our clients, and they know they can come back and buy exactly what has worked previously for them.  Anyone can go to Boots, Debenhams, etc. to buy the latest fashion colours. We need to offer an alternative.  I went with the Artistry range from Amway for a while and found that I was paying out a fortune to re-stock my kit with new colours every few months.  Customers were extremely unhappy that they couldn't get what they'd bought several years before, so I went back to Moritz.

Stock-holder commissions

• As a wholesale buyer*, you can order and pay for stock to deliver or despatch to your clients yourself; you will receive a 40% discount (67% mark-up)

You may prefer not to hold stock

• As a wholesale buyer*, if you prefer not to hold (or order) stock for your clients, you can earn 20% commission by directing your clients to your own page on the JFC website
• The company will process all credit / debit card payments and ship directly to your customer
• Affiliate software will track this as clients must enter your consultant code at the checkout, and you will receive a 20% commission on all website sales. This will be paid to you quarterly

Repeat sales

• Eye shadows and blushers are supplied in magnetic modules designed to fit in the very nicely-packaged compacts. This means that my client has to return to me when each individual module runs out.

Free training

• The company will run a free 2-hour training session for every new consultant. This covers product information and how to use and sell the range to your clients.  The training will be held in Sheffield, UK. Further details of dates, etc. will be announced on the JFC website
• JFC offer registered consultants only a one-day training course with a professional make-up artist. This will give you all the up-to-date skills you need to confidently run a make-up consultation

Client brochures are available for purchase

• GBP 8.00 for 10
• There is room provided on the client brochures for you to personalise these for each client
• You can stick your own sticker over the the company website which is pre-printed on the client brochures. This allows you to control how your client re-orders - either directly from you when you earn 40% discount (you have to order it and deliver it), and / or 20% commission if you choose to direct your customer to your own landing page on the company website. Bear in mind that if you go with Virgin Vie, for example, you might sell your client her first lot of make-up but she can then go directly into a Virgin Vie shop in any shopping mall and buy it for herself - and you earn nothing!

JFC looked closely at 'organic' ranges but the colours were a real wash-out and the shelf life of such products is horrendous. You would be having to throw them out on a regular basis, so wasting money, energy and time.

How to order

My own personal observations, plus some extra information

COLOURS

• The colours are cool and warm, and will work for both seasonal and tonal colour work.
• You have suggestions for the 4 seasons and for the 6 tones all detailed above which makes life so much easier.
• The colours cater for all skin tones: Caucasian, Afro-Caribbean, Hispanic, Oriental and Asian - including the foundations!

BASE

left to right - Silk foundation primer, Linen blusher (this suits all light skin tones), French Beige foundation, Dark shadow lifting pen, Tan foundation

• The foundation primer feels like a skin serum. You use the tiniest bit so the bottle will last ages. The primer irons out the creases, leaving the skin soft and smooth enough to apply the liquid foundation.
• The foundation contains sun protection and is suitable for all skin types.
• The shadow lifting pen is an alternative to YSL Touche Eclat and comes in Light, Medium and Dark. It has a soft applicator which does not drag the skin like a brush so, in my opinion, is much kinder to your skin.

CHEEKS

• The refillable blush compacts mean that my client has to return to me when the individual module runs out.

LIPS

• There are 12 cool lipsticks and 12 warm, giving you approximately 6 lipsticks for each of the 4 seasons which gives you so much opportunity to sell more than one to each client.
• The colours are excellent; there's even a cool browny shade for Summers (Dusty Rose).
• The lipstick cases are small and neat but contain full-size lipstick product.

• The natural lip gloss pencil is a brilliant idea. You can add gloss to any lipstick or wear it on its own but the most clever thing is that you can introduce a client to a new colour by mixing what would normally appear to be too strong a colour for her to even contemplate with a touch of gloss to give her just a hint of colour. For me personally, and for the first time in my life, I've found a lip gloss that doesn't make me look as though I've just dunked my mouth in a bowl of liquid glycerine!

EYES

• You can sell each client 3 eye shadow modules to fill her compact - a base, a definition colour, and a shadow.
• The darker colours can be applied wet to create an eye liner using the double-ended eye brush.
• The mascara is lash-lengthening and water resistant and is available in black and brown.
• The refillable eye shadow compacts mean that my client has to return to me when each of the 3 individual modules run out.

ACCESSORIES

• The client brushes are very classy too. Clients are always asking where I bought this brush and that applicator, and now I can sell them the exact same ones that I use myself, and make money too - check prices.
• The eye-applicator brush can be used wet with darker eye colours to create an eye liner look.
• Both the blusher and the eyeshadow compacts are available to purchase empty. The blusher compact comes with a fat sable brush. The eye shadow compact comes with a double-ended synthetic applicator. You can also buy replacement applicators.

PACKAGING

• The packaging is smart and classy. It’s shiny, neat, and up-market.  You will feel very confident using the compacts and lipsticks in public.  The compact brushes are classy, not just cheap applicators.  Each item is packaged in an individual card sleeve.
• NB. The Moritz compact does not work with the JFC modules, or vice versa.

PRICES

• The retail prices are excellent and will make your customers happy.
• The great mark-up means you will make money, and that will make you happy!

• Ordering is simple and I don't have to hold stock if I don't want to. I can earn 40% discount if I hold stock and supply my customers directly, or I can still earn a fabulous 20% commission by getting my client to order online for herself.
