Each course will be built around YOU
You are unique. You have your own way of working, your own personality,
your own strengths (and weaknesses) and we need to take all this into
account and design a business around you. After all, your clients will
come to see YOU (usually from word-of-mouth recommendation). The course
will show you how to make your business stand out from the crowd.
How many will be on the course?
There will be a maximum of 4 on each course and this will give you a
chance to practise on each other, encourage and learn from each other,
swap business ideas, and straight away you'll have a support network
of like-minded independent business ladies or gentlemen like yourself
to keep in touch with after the course (including me, of course).
As a general rule, the courses will be all ladies only, or all gentlemen
only. Contact me if you are a mixed couple or group who would like to
train together.

NB. There is no printed prospectus - this website is as near as you
will get to a prospectus as I do not have a set course. The content evolves
from and around the attendees on each individual course.

Understanding the theory of colour and the practical aspects of how
colour affects every part of our lives will help you to show your clients
which hues, shades, tints and tones will make them look absolutely gorgeous
- all the time! You will learn:
- your own colour analysis (it's rather important that YOU look good,
don't you think?)
- a simple method of Tonal and Seasonal colour analysis that is easy
for everyone to understand (that's both you and your client!)
- how the two systems can work alone - and together
- how to help those clients who are not obviously Seasonal
- how to run your colour consultations from start to finish - what
to include and what to definitely avoid
- how to select the right shades and apply a quick and easy make-up
for your client (or how NOT to include make-up in your consultations,
if you prefer!)
- how to advise on current fashion trends
- how to do colour analysis without a drape in sight! (very useful
as a marketing tool)
- how to incorporate those shades which are not so flattering for an
individual client
- an introduction to Colour Psychology - this is a simple, fun approach
which you can use with your clients to help break the ice
- how not to bore to death or confuse your client (or yourself) with
irrelevant image-speak, interminable draping, and unnecessary information
- how to work out what your client really wants from the consultation,
and how to deliver just that!

It is essential that you understand the fundamentals of Seasonal and/or
Tonal colour analysis before undertaking this course. You will be showing
ladies how to make the most of their body shape and personality, and
how to disguise the bits they'd rather the rest of the world didn't see!
The course covers Classic, Natural, Dramatic, Creative, Romantic and
European fashion and style trends. You will learn how to:
- analyse body shape, scale and personality
- advise ladies of all ages about which style of clothes make them
look their best
- assess and solve figure problems
- advise on jewellery and other accessories
- diagnose facial features to be able to select the most flattering
hairstyles, glasses and hats for your client
- run a style consultation from start to finish - what to include and
what to leave out
- market your brand-new service
- work out what your client really wants from the consultation, and
