I get in to the online catalogue?

Who can register?
Registration is open to image, colour and style consultants who
want to use drapes, capes, etc. to supply colour / style consultations
and colour swatch wallets to their customers.
You may run a related business and want to provide a more personalised
service for your customers by adding colour advice; our client list includes
hair stylists, beauty therapists, boutique owners, florists, wedding
dress shops, jewellery retailers, personal coaches, etc.
Do
I have to do the 'Colour
in a box' training or the face-to-face training
with you before I am able to order any supplies?
There is absolutely no requirement to buy anything at all from us before
you can order supplies! The only requirement to order supplies at wholesale
prices is that you register with us first - it's totally free. Apply

I
tried registering. Since I work as an independent image consultant
and do not have a business registered yet, will I not be able to do
so?
There is no requirement to have a registered business. We love
to help independent consultants like yourself so just ignore the 'Company'
details box and tell us about your training and current business in the
'Additional Information' box.
I'd like
to know how to order drapes and a colour wheel online if I don't want
to apply for 'wholesale' rates?
You can order Ladies' and Men's seasonal wallets
and fans, plus the Ladies' safe tonal wallets
all at full retail prices if you want to.
All other items for image consultants, i.e. drapes, colour wheels,
capes, etc. are only available
in the wholesale area at wholesale prices. We also offer a full range
of colour swatch wallets - you can see them all at a glance here -
prices are available inside the wholesale catalogue.
Can
you send me a printed catalogue?
Our catalogue of supplies is available online only. A printed
version of this catalogue is not available. The costs of this would be
astronomical and we would have to pass those onto you! The online catalogue
provides full descriptions plus colour photographs and prices of all
our products but if you need further information about any items, just contact us.
Product
pricing
- All product pricing is quoted in GB pounds sterling, excluding taxes
unless stated otherwise
- Any applicable taxes such as EU VAT and shipping costs are calculated
and itemised at the checkout
- Orders for delivery outside the UK may be subject to local Customs
taxes. Please contact your local Customs office for details.
- Calculate the costs in your own currency - use the personal
currency assistant for up-to-the-minute currency conversion
I am outside
the UK. Can I order from you and how can I pay for my products?
- We ship anywhere in the world, except Japan
- Buy online using our secure payment system using your credit / debit
card
- You will be debited in your own currency
Your credit / debit card statement sent to you by your card issuer will
show your purchase in your local currency. Some card issuers also print
the exchange rate they applied to the transaction. We recommend you use
the personal currency assistant for
up-to-the-minute currency conversion information.
Orders placed outside the E.U. may be subject to Customs taxes. Please

Can I
order one of each type of swatch pack in, say, Spring colours to compare
and see
which ones I like and would feel most confident in using?
To help keep costs
down, we don't send out samples and will charge a 20% restock fee for
any returns which are in re-saleable condition.
To
help you make your decision, the online catalogue carries full colour
photos and descriptions of all the swatch wallets and fans, plus you'll
be able to print off a list of all the swatches contained in every single
wallet. And feel free to contact me to talk through
any questions you might have.
How do
I order swatch wallets?
If
you are purchasing colour fabric fans or swatch wallets, use the additional
order information box on the order summary page at the checkout to specify
additional order information.
For example, if you are ordering 15 Ladies' Seasonal Wallets - 5 of
which are Spring, 8 Summer and 2 Autumn, add 15 Ladies' Seasonal Wallets
to your shopping cart, then at the checkout type 'Ladies' Seasonal Wallets:
5x Spring 8x Summer 2x Autumn' in the box provided.
This allows total flexibility for you whilst making sure you don't miss
out on the quantity discounts on all the swatches and fans you purchase.
Just select the wallet types you want from the catalogue list and click
on 'add to cart'.

Do
you offer a discount for ordering a larger number of wallets and drapes?
We offer quantity discounts:
- when you order 10 or more fans or wallets
- when you order 20 or more drapes
The shopping cart will automatically apply the discounts when you set
the quantity of each product. If you need a reminder
of the volume discounts available, you can click the
quantity discount link in the shopping cart.
Do I have
to order all the same fans / wallets or drapes to qualify for the discount?
Not at all. You can mix them up. For instance, to qualify for the discount
on 10 seasonal fans, you could order 3x Winter, 3x Summer, 3x Spring
and 1x Summer (or whatever combination you need).
Can
I order just one individual drape?
Absolutely.
There are no minimum orders on any of our products.
Just visit the Drapes
Catalogue inside the wholesale area for a full list of every drape that
is available, and make your selection.
How
much will the shipping be?
Shipping costs are calculated by weight and destination, and are
itemised at the checkout.
Please make sure you select the correct shipping
option from the drop-down box at the checkout:
- UK delivery
- Other European delivery (excluding UK)
- Australia
- Middle East
- New Zealand
- North America
- South America
- Switzerland
- Other international
If you have not paid enough to cover shipping to your part of the world
we may cancel and refund your order. You will then have to input a replacement
order with the correct shipping option.

How long
will it take to ship my goods?
UK DELIVERIES
- Orders under GBP 150.00 (net product
total, not including shipping or VAT) are despatched Royal Mail Small
Packet service which is not track-able and is not signed for. Kielder
Computers Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays for items already
despatched by Royal Mail. You should receive these within 2 to 3 working
days of despatch.
- Orders over GBP 150.00 (net product
total, not including shipping or VAT), are despatched by signed-for
courier service. You should receive these within 1 to 2 working days
of despatch.
EUROPEAN DELIVERIES (outside the
UK)
- Orders under GBP 150.00 (net product total, not
including shipping or VAT) are despatched Royal Mail Airmail. This
service is not track-able and is not signed for. Kielder Computers
Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays for items already despatched
by Royal Mail. You should receive these within 5 to 10 working days

Despatch times may vary from those quoted above depending on stock availability
but we will notify you by email should there be any delays.
* Please note that goods are despatched Monday to Friday only, excluding England
and Wales Bank Holidays.
When ordering drapes in quantities of 20 or more please allow 5 to 7
working days for UK delivery and 8 to 14 days for international delivery.
Style drapes are generally made to order and despatch is usually within
3 weeks.
Payment
methods
- Accepted payment methods are Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Delta,
and PayPal
- Cheque payment is not available
All orders are despatched subject to card payment authorisation by the
bank. The authorisation is processed in real time at the checkout when
you click to pay. Should there be a problem with your payment you are
notified immediately, on-screen. Additional manual security checks are
sometimes required before the order is despatched.
All our prices are quoted in GBP (Great British Pounds sterling) but
you can 'Choose your currency' to display an equivalent in your own currency
within the wholesale catalogue.
Your credit card supplier will convert the final GBP total to your own
currency at the rate prevailing on the date of your transaction. You
can check this at www.xe.com
The payment will appear on your credit card statement as 'Kielder Computers
Ltd'.
I'm
worried about on-line ordering as I had a lot of spam from previous
companies doing this. I would really like to purchase your products.
Can I use PayPal or direct debit?
- We don’t offer direct debits
- You can certainly use PayPal and this choice is available at the
checkout
I can reassure you that we would never pass your details
on to anyone else so the only email newsletters you may receive would
be directly from me, and you are free to unsubscribe from those at any
time.
I tend to send out a newsletter to wholesale catalogue subscribers only
when we have some important news, i.e warnings of imminent price increases,
probable delays in deliveries due to postal strikes, and special offers
on colour supplies.
WorldPay are our online Banking providers. They are part of the Royal
Bank of Scotland and follow the same policy as us - they will never pass
your details onto a third party.
I
don't have a credit or debit card to use
I'd like to order. Do I need to do this online
or can I just send you a cheque?
If your cheque guarantee card has a Switch or Visa
Delta logo on it, then you can use it online at our website to purchase
your colour supplies. We do not take cheques.
Can
I telephone you with my order?
This is an automated online ordering system, designed to help
keep your costs down. If we employed staff to take your telephone orders,
we would have to put our prices up. If we have to take an order over
the telephone and input it here in the office, there will be a 20% surcharge
to meet staff and administration costs.
NEW SECURITY CODE REQUIRED FOR ALL INTERNET PURCHASES
You should also
be aware that, from July 2008, YOU will have to input a new security
code / password when you order anything online (from any retailer anywhere,
and not just us). Read
more. This now precludes us from taking your order over the telephone
as you should not be telling us (or anyone else) what your security code
is! And that's exactly why the banks have come up with this new idea!
The
problem is that my Visa card does not have one of those security numbers
(the 3 digits) on the back
We've checked with our bank and they say,"A security number is mandatory
on all cards issued with a valid from-date of 1 January 1999 or later."
Perhaps you could talk to your bank about issuing you with a new card
to enable you to place internet orders, where most shopping cart systems
(like ours) ask for this extra bit of security.
Can you
send me extra items and charge my credit card with the extra amount?
Because of the contract with our payment providers we are not allowed
to keep your credit card details at all, so are unable to charge your
card with any extra amounts. You will have to place a new order for the
items you now want.
Can
you ship directly to another address?
Yes. Look for the 'Ship to a different address?' box at the checkout.

What
if I need to return something?
- If the goods are damaged or we have inadvertently sent you the wrong
item, we will replace them for you as quickly as possible.
- If you have ordered the wrong item, we will charge
a 20% restock fee, as we assume that all our buyers are professionals
and know what they're ordering! Shipping costs will not be refunded.

International buyers
Read this BEFORE you place your order
Please note that you are responsible for any taxes or
fees which may be charged by your own country's Customs office:
- If you refuse
to take delivery of our package because you decide not to pay these
fees, your Customs office may charge us a fee - which we will pass
on to you
- The courier company may also charge a further fee for returning
the package to the UK - again, we will pass this fee on to you
- Customs and / or courier fees are in addition to the 20% restock
fee mentioned above
It might work out cheaper
in the long run to pay the Customs taxes!
We are unable to offer any advice on what your Customs taxes or fees
may be. Please contact your own country's Customs office directly.
