Wearing your Cool colours
- Cool colours suit you best
- Use any cool colour from rose pink, raspberry, magenta, maroon, blue-red
and lavender through to blues, pinks, jade green and purple.
- Select patterns containing cool colours and mix these with plain
cool shades for best effect
- Soft monochromatic blends of cooler shades may look good on you
- Warm, golden or yellowy colours (orange, lime green, tan, camel,
mustard) are not your best shades, and certainly not near your face! If
you must wear them, team them with a cooler colour next to the face,
use a low neckline, or wear your best colours for jewellery and/or
make-up.

Save time and money on your next shopping trip
Now you know which Tonal Direction you are, you will find a wallet/fan
of colour fabric swatches really useful, especially for shopping trips.
The brain cannot retain shades, tones, tints or hues of colour so having
the wallet with you as a reminder will make shopping so much easier.
You'll save time and money by:
- walking past all the colours in the shops that do nothing for you
- no longer buying things that don't suit you
and you'll end up with a wardrobe full of colours that make YOU look
fabulous.
There are two choices for your colouring and each fan holds plenty of
hints and tips about the best colours to select for your wardrobe, including
Neutrals, Basics and Accent colours, together with advice on how to choose
make-up, jewellery, accessories and hair colours confidently.
1. SAFE TONE FAN

those with your best accent colours.
2. TONAL FAN
If you'd like more colours to play around with, this version contains
45 swatches and is just a more comprehensive alternative to the safe
tone fan.
On the back of each card, there's loads of tips and suggestions for
wearing your best colours:
- how to wear your tonal colours
- your best darkest neutrals
- your best lightest neutrals
- your best accent colours
- how to wear the not-so-good colours (including the latest fashion
colours which may not be in your palette)

Both fans talk about your darker neutrals which are
