Wearing your Soft Muted colours
- Soft, muted, blended colours will suit you best
- Try using blue under navy or rust under brown
- Avoid extremes of contrast, i.e. black or navy and white next to
the face
- Fabrics that are ‘stonewashed’ or have a slightly faded
appearance can look very expensive on you
- Bright neon colours like royal blue or lime green will look less
expensive! Choose denim or periwinkle blue or moss green or jade
green instead
- Bright, clear colours (fuschia pink, pure white, emerald green, scarlet)
are not your best shades, and certainly not near your face! If
you must wear them, team them with a more muted colour next to the
face, use a low neckline, or wear your best colours for jewellery and/or
make-up.
