THE OVERALL MOOD
Spring
Summer 2008 is colourful, joyous and feminine. The heavy hardy winter
clothes have been ushered out by wisps of summer, and neons billow and
twirl into our fashion sphere.
The mood is upbeat and the direction is
reminiscent of parts of Ancient Greece - gentle, drapey, ruched and flowing.
Current trends from the Autumn season remain and evolve - the cinched
waist, the focus on the shoulder, the belt, the big bag and the vertigo-inducing
shoes, but they have been given a new feeling of lightness in both colour
and feel.
